Sustainable sofa
The corde sofa is designed to be very sustainable. I made the sofa in a way that it’s easy to disassemble & repared when needed. The cushions are held in place with ropes. They are not only functional but they are also used to create different patterns. This way you can create a sofa that suits a variety of personalities. I wanted it to be as modular as possible. The frame has a simple shape and is easy to build. The connections used are not temporary and removable with just 1 tool. These connections are designed by Frederik Aerts.
